State of siege / North Kivu: the military governor suspends the movement of public administration personnel

Goma, May 23^th, 2021 (CPA).- The military governor of the province of North Kivu, Lieutenant General Constant Ndima Kongba, has just suspended all movement of public administration personnel until further notice, a circular note indicates of the governorate, a copy of which reached the CPA last Friday. According to the source, this circular note is addressed to mayors of towns, directors of public and parastatal enterprises, heads of provincial divisions of public administration, administrators, mayors of municipalities as well as heads of chiefdoms and sectors. . Sources close to the administration of the governorate inform that during his very first talk with the agents attached to his cabinet, the new head of the provincial executive of North Kivu had assured that he will work with all the staff administrative because not having come to make a clean sweep.
