Sud Kivu: The governor Kavumu market

Bukavu, May 3rd, 2021 (CPA).– The governor of Sud Kivu province, Theo Ngwabije Kasi, visited on Thursday April 29th, Kavumu market in Kabare territory, part of which was the victim of a fire a week ago.

On the spot, the provincial governor expressed his compassion to the sellers who lost their goods and to the inhabitants living around the said market who lost their goods.

He urged that he be given the list of victims urgently so that they could be assisted. He took the opportunity to kick-start the work of delimiting the said market before ordering the opening of the passage for vehicles because the passage is obstructed by anarchic constructions.

The head of the provincial executive also took the time to commune with deaf-mute students at Karanda center after exchanging views with local authorities and notables in Kabare territory. ACP /
