Kalemie, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- The selling price of a liter of gasoline has fallen from 2,500 to 3,500 or even 4,000 Congolese francs on the market for this petroleum product in the territory of Moba, one of the agglomerations of Tanganyika
According to a source from the Federation of Congo Businesses (FEC) in Moba, this increase is due to the problems of chartering boats which are blocked for some at the ports of Kalemie and for others in Kigoma in Tanzania following the strong wind which is currently shaking Lake Tanganyika.
Some shady depositories took advantage of the situation to speculate on the prices of these products on the market with its attendant problems on basic necessities and public transport. ACP/
