Kinshasa, September 1st, 2021 (CPA).- The mayor of the commune of Lemba, Jean Nsaka, spoke on Tuesday with the heads of the neighborhoods and the tenants of the terraces, bars and commercial houses under his jurisdiction to fight against the problem noise pollution and the persistence of insalubrity in his municipality, during a meeting he chaired for them in the multipurpose room in the municipality of the same name
The municipal authority informed his interlocutors that Edict 05 of the law on the protection of the environment prohibits playing music strongly to protect the education of our children to noise pollution, to close all flows of drinks that do not have sanitary facilities to prevent disease, before affirming that « our mission is to reduce the number of bars and churches that sabotage the decisions of state authorities ».
He also asked his interlocutors to reflect the image of the knowledge community through our behavior, inviting them to get involved in the « Kinshasa-bopeto » operation in Lemba. ACP/
