Matadi, July 3rd, 2021 (CPA) .– The national deputy Müller Luthelo inaugurated, Wednesday in Matadi, a modern maternity unit called « Maman Mbewa Luthelo », located in the enclosure of the general hospital of reference of Mvuzi (ex-Bobi Ladawa), in the presence of the physician director of this hospital training, Dr Didier Mena, and several members of the foundation bearing the name of this elected representative of Matadi, on the occasion of the celebration of the 61st anniversary of the country’s independence.
The maternity building, whose construction work lasted a year at a cost of 60 thousand US dollars, funded by MP Muller luthelo, includes, upstairs, an air-conditioned delivery room, three offices, two bedrooms VIP, two common rooms, one of which can accommodate premature children and three toilets.
It includes, on the ground floor, a heart restaurant, a store with a dining room and an administrative office.
The deputy Müller Luthelo, in his remarks for the occasion, paraphrased the President of the Republic Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo who, in his address last May to the national deputies of the Sacred Union of the nation received at the City of the African Union in Kinshasa, recommended to elected representatives to be agents of development in all their constituencies.
The elected representative of Matadi said he adhered to the vision of the Head of State concerned about the better future of the population and who, apart from emoluments, made the means available to elected officials to enable them to satisfy their voters and thus enable them, in their capacity as development agents, to be closer to their bases in the development of their areas.
Müller luthelo invited his fellow deputies to follow in his footsteps in the development work of the city of Matadi, before announcing the inauguration, next January, of another hospital in the municipality of Nzanza.
The physician director of the general referral hospital of Mvuzi thanked the national deputy Müller Luthelo for this donation from the maternity hospital.
The population of Minkondo, the district where the new maternity hospital is located, congratulated MP Müller Luthelo for having thought of them. ACP/NIG
