Kananga, July 10th, 2021 (CPA).- The non-governmental development organization (NGDO) « Kuya Kumpala » seeks support from the provincial public authority for the growth of market gardening in order to avoid vegetable deficiency.
Mrs. Dady Thérèse Ngalula, president of the board of directors of this organization who recently told the press, said that this request relates to agricultural tools and others able to encourage the peasants.
She linked the scarcity of vegetables recently observed in the Kananga market to the lack of water, poor seed conservation policy, theft, and the low number of farmers in the area.
The NGO « Kuya Kumpala » works in the field of food security, education and protection of women and children living with disabilities, women’s entrepreneurship, she recalls. ACP/
