Kananga, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- The provincial coordinator of Environment and Sustainable Development for Kasaï Central, Ir. Théodore Mulumba Mukendi, during an interview with CPA on Wednesday in Kananga, invited the population to plant a tree in each household.
Mulumba Mukendi, who insisted on this commitment said that the planting of trees even by non-governmental organizations and other various government projects will respond to the concern of the Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, to see the DR Congo will reach one billion trees by the year 2025.
« Achieving this goal will allow ecosystem restoration and ecological transition for a healthy environment in the fight against global warming which threatens all humanity, » said Mulumba Mukendi. ACP/
