Kindu, July 24th, 2021 (CPA).- The NGO Oxfam announced on Wednesday the launch soon of the project to build drinking water wells and sanitation for the public environment in the rural commune of Salamabila located in the South from the province of Maniema, learned the CPA from local civil society.
According to the project manager, Gracia Bawerhe, the NGO Oxfam intends to fight against recurrent water-borne, infectious and parasitic diseases in the region, by providing the population with this vital good quality food, and promoting public hygiene in the region. this rural town and its hinterlands plagued by insecurity orchestrated by armed groups for several years.
