Kisangani, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- The interim provincial governor of Tshopo Maurice Abibu Sakapela Bin Mungamba, carried out on Tuesday, an inspection visit to the Lumumba stadium of the municipality of Tshopo in order to palpate the progress of the sanitation works carried out by the town hall’s sanitation brigades as part of the preparations for the reception of the relics of the first Congolese Premier, Patrice Emery Lumumba.
Maurice Abibu Sakapela Bin Mungamba, who is determined to clean up the various sites chosen for this reception, noted that « time is running out and things must accelerate so that the targeted sites are ready to receive distinguished guests who will be passing through Kisangani with the relics of our National Hero ”.
Among the sites selected, in addition to the Lumumba stadium, are the former office of the first Prime Minister at the post office, the cell of his detention at the central prison of Kisangani in the commune of Mangobo, the Stanley fountain and the port of SCTP ex-Onatra. ACP/
