Kisangani, April 3rd, 2021 (CPA) .- The Special Envoy of the Head of State, Patrick Nkombo, staying in Kisangani, informed the interim governor of Tshopo, Maurice Abibu Sakapela Bin Mungamba, of the President’s determination of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, to provide this province with a new hydroelectric dam in the town of Babeba, upstream of the Tshopo river, in the territory of Bafwasende.
Patrick Nkombo made it known during the talks that the delegation of the Presidency of the Republic had last Tuesday in Kisangani with the provincial authority of Tshopo at his office. To do this, said Mr. Nkombo, his delegation went to Tshopo province to visit the site where the new dam will be erected. Maurice Abibu Sakapela Bin Mungamba, for his part, thanked the Head of State for this attention to the province of Tshopo, in the hope of seeing this project come to fruition.
