Kisangani, May 29th, 2021 (CPA).- The mayor of Kisangani, Jean-Louis Alaso Boselekolo, thanked the Head of State Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo for having recognized his jurisdiction as the cradle of the movement to fight for the independence of the Democratic Republic of Congo by scheduling for next June 26 the passage to Kisangani of the relic of national hero Emery Patrice Lumumba from the airport
The chief of the urban executive who said it recently, indicated that « one cannot speak about the history of the DRC without a city of the city of Kisangani » adding that this historical figure is one of the great fighters for the sovereignty of the country. The whole city of Kisangani is mobilized to reserve a dignified welcome to this relic of the Prime Minister, it is reported. ACP/Fng/nig
