Kinshasa, August 7th, 2021 (CPA).- The operations manager for the coordination of the response against Covid-19 in North Kivu, Dr Cyrille Ngadjo Lotsima died Thursday in Goma following an illness that lasted three weeks. Dr Cyrille Ngadjo was born in Blukwa in Ituri on May 24th, 1970. He left a wife and three children. The illustrious disappeared worked since 2000 as an expert at the Ministry of Public Health, Hygiene and Prevention, where he worked as head of the communication and research office ad interim at the Provincial Division of Health (DPS) of the North. Kivu. Dr Cyrille Ngadjo was also in charge of epidemic response operations. He had strong experience in the fight against Ebola virus disease in the Democratic Republic of Congo and elsewhere. He was also a great advocate for the country with donors, notably the CDC based in Atlanta, United States. Very recently, when updating the National Strategic Plan for the response to Covid-19 in Kinshasa, he did not fail to show his capacity to help the country, specifically in the health sector. ACP/
