Kinshasa, April 19th, 2021 (CPA).- « Chrétien d’Afrique » NGO offered a donation of meals and health kits against COVID-19 to patients at « Maman Koko » hospital center, during a charity visit, organized in Kimbondo district, in the municipality of Mont-Ngafula.
According to its coordinator Bienvenu Kimina, this donation comprising essentially ready-to-eat food, masks and hydroalcoholic gels is a way for its structure to come to the aid of its patients who need to eat and protect themselves against the Coronavirus.
This visit, he clarified, is part of the actions of support for the destitute, that “Chrétien d’Afrique” NGO has been carrying out for a few months, stressing that this also augurs the vehicle of a message of love and hope to those concerned.
For his part, the medical director, Mr. Richard Kizeyidioko, thanked the heads of the NGO, for this gesture which comes somewhat to relieve the hospital, in the food and health care of patients.
« Chrétien d’Afrique » is an initiative of the pastoral couple Frederic Liberté, living in Canada, and working in the assistance of orphans, widows and other vulnerable social strata.
