Kinshasa, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).– The Congolese National Federation of Sumo and associated disciplines organized, from Saturday June 5th to Sunday June 6th, 2021 at the Military School of Camp Kokolo, the capacity building seminar for the athletes of this combat sport.
Federation President Franck Molisho urged young people to practice Japanese wrestling, making it known that Sumo is an Olympic discipline. He said that the organization of this seminar follows the shortcomings observed in the leader of many athletes of the national team of the DRC. This is why, he said, the Federation wanted to repair the situation by organizing the 2-day training session with the participation of 20 people. This also allowed the national technical direction to detect rare birds to strengthen the national team.
General Franck Molisho announced another seminar to be held before June 30th, the anniversary of the independence of the DRC. ACP/
