Kinshasa, August 7th, 2021 (CPA).– The manager of the Olympic Club Dumez, Robert Mwamba, told the CPA on Friday that his team is ready to validly defend itself at the Kinshasa Provincial Football Agreement championship (EPFKIN) next season.
OC Dumez will not play as an expiatory victim to the elite division of Kinshasa football and will use its long experience in Division I of the Kinshasa Urban Football Agreement (EUFKIN) -Lipopo has to assert itself, a Mwamba said, adding that the goal is to hold on and not to go back and forth. Only seriousness in the work can guarantee the team’s survival in this provincial championship, a good recruitment of players and good preparation constituting the pledge of a good journey. « We know this championship and we master its intricacies although it is a first experience for our foals, » he said.
“OC Dumez is the first team from Mont Ngafula commune to win the EUFKIN-Lipopo championship and soon take part in the provincial championship. We are not only proud of this but also aware of the heavy responsibility that we carry on our shoulders. So, we need the support and backing of everyone in order to allow us to finish at the top of the championship, ”noted manager Mwamba.

OCD wins several Division I awards
The OCD has won several awards in the EUFKIN-Lipopo Division I Championship at the end of the 2020-2021 sports season, according to the activity report of this sports entity.
They are: Best club award with 100 points, Best attack (89 goals), Best defense (12 goals conceded), Best player and Top scorer with Mbala Lutala (28 goals) and Best sports manager (Carlos Baruti). ACP/
