FECOFA: the official correspondents of V. Club Bestine Kazadi and Patrick Banichay pardoned

Kinshasa, August 7th, 2021 (CPA).- The Congolese Federation of Association Football (FECOFA) pardoned the two official correspondents of AS V.Club in Kinshasa, Ms. Bestine Kazadi Ditabala and Patrick Banichayi Muelela Menji, respectively president and secretary of the management committee, according to his letters addressed to each individually and a copy of which reached the ACP on Friday.

The pardon measure of the Congolese footballing body fell after the request for pardon from the two official correspondents of the Dauphins Noirs in Kinshasa. In its letter FECOFA writes: « We inform you that the current position of V.Club, your club, given its status as one of the country’s representatives in CAF interclub competitions, requires support from the apex body. «

After making amends, FECOFA could not help but lift this double sanction which has immobilized V.Club in this important period of player recruiting and for the signing of contracts for recruited players.

Ms. Bestine Kazadi Ditabala and Patrick Banichayi Muelela Menji were suspended following the case of the player Zao Matutala, which lost 9 points to AS V. Club for the 3 matches in which the latter had taken part during the sports season 2020-2021. ACP/
