Kinshasa, April 13th, 2021 (CPA) – Mr. Serge Nkonde Tsembo has been appointed Minister in charge of Sports and Leisure of Jean Michel Sama Lukonde Government, replacing Marcel Amos Mbayo Kitenge.
The elected representative of Sakania territory in Haut-Katanga, is part of the government appointed on Monday by presidential ordinance. He succeeds Mbayo Kitenge, who stayed for almost a year and 7 months.
Serge Nkonde, in his capacity as a former provincial Minister in charge of Sports of Haut-Katanga, arrives at the Ministry in charge of Sports and Leisure at a time when Congolese football aspires to profound reforms and the day after the elimination of the national football team , the Leopards, and TP Mazembe clubs in Lubumbashi and AS V.
