Kinshasa, April 5th, 2021 (CPA).- The adventure of the AS V.Club of the DR Congo stopped, Saturday April 03 in Dar Es-Salaam, in Tanzania, in front of Simba SC of the locality at the end of his heavy defeat (1-4), in a match of the 5th day of group A of the 25th Champions League of the African Football Confederation (CAF).
After TP Mazembe in front of CR Belouizdad (0-2), Friday April 2 in Algiers, the green and black club of the Congolese capital also went to the guillotine in front of the intrepid and enterprising Tanzanian club, master of the place and elusive during the group stage.
The Congolese, despite the desire to do well manifested during most of the first half and punctuated by the lack of lucidity of its offensive line on numerous scoring occasions, ended up conceding a goal the author of which was not other than Morrison B. (30th), former member of the Kinshasa club.
The Black Dolphins did not hesitate to come back to the score thanks to Kikasa Wamba (32nd). While we saw half-time intervene on this parity score, Chama C. (46 + 1 ‘) emerged to give a new advantage to the Tanzanians. The latter, masters of the place, will drive the point home when the locker room returns by Bwalia L. (66th), before Chama C. (84th) comes to seal the score for the 4-1, thus allowing Simba to qualify for the quarter-finals. At the moment when V.Club, like Mazembe, puts away its weapons while waiting for the next edition.
