Kinshasa, May 29th, 2021 (CPA).- The senior male basketball Leopards of DR Congo are part of group A of Afrobasket 2021 with Angola, Morocco or Uganda or Cape Verde and Rwanda , host country, according to the results of the draw conducted Friday in Kigali, Rwanda, by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) -Africa.
This continental competition will bring together 16 teams divided into four groups, which are composed as follows: group A: Rwanda, DRC, Angola and the 4th which will be known at the end of the tournament between Morocco, Uganda, Cape Verde; group B: Tunisia, Central African Republic, Egypt, Guinea; group C: Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mali; group D: Senegal (title holder), Cameroon, South Sudan, and the 4th will be known after the tournament Morocco, Uganda and Cape Verde.
