The volunteers of the DRC conquer the Ivory Coast

Kinshasa, August 24th, 2021 (CPA).- The new chairman of FC “Renaissance du Congo”, Willy Mandala, has promised to make changes within the club during his tenure on Monday during the training session at the stadium Velodrome, in the municipality of Kintambo.

He reiterated his commitment to work so that today’s FC Renaissance du Congo cannot resemble yesterday’s FC Renaissance du Congo, characterized by bickering and unproductive discussions, which instead caused the club’s remarkable decline.

« It’s over with the disunity within the ‘Bana Fibo. It is time for the ‘’ Renais ‘’ ’all look in the same direction to rewrite our great history and for everyone to get their hands dirty so that the coming season ushers in the real turning point for the team. Two victories in two preparation matches

FC Renaissance du Congo recorded two victories in the two preparatory matches for the 27th national championship, Sunday at the Ujana field at the Père Raphaël de la Kethulle stadium.

In the first meeting, the green-white-orange club pulverized FC Olario of division I of the Kinshasa Urban Football Agreement (EUFKIN) -Kilimani on the mark of 7-1, while in the second meeting, the protégés coach Papy Kimoto Okitankoy won against AC Normans of the Kinshasa Provincial Football Agreement (EPFKIN) by 2-1.

Election next Saturday of the supporters’ committee

In accordance with the decision of the elective extraordinary general assembly on Saturday August 21st, supporters will elect the National Supporters Committee (CNS) on Saturday September 4, 2021 in Kinshasa. The « Renais » supporters will have the opportunity to equip themselves with a new leadership capable of reconciling views and boosting their team to success as has been the case in recent years. Willy Kindembe’s successor will have the difficult task of reconciling the two fringes of supporters under the leadership of the new management committee.

Two Cameroonians ready to get involved…

Two Cameroonian players Yannick Nkouanga (center forward) and Christian Kevin (left side), who arrived in Kinshasa last weekend, will soon join the orange club in the capital. In the same vein, Yves Magola and Jurbo Mambanzikila, two former AS Vita Club of Kinshasa were also recruited in order to strengthen the backbone of the team. ACP/
