Kinshasa, February 9th, 2026 (CPA).- The Japanese Prime Minister has expressed on Monday her desire to strengthen the ‘unshakeable unity’ between their two countries with the US President and to reinforce cooperation in several areas during her upcoming visit to the United States, according to international media the international media have reported.
‘Regarding the meeting with President Trump, we will reaffirm the unshakeable unity between Japan and the United States, and we will further strengthen cooperation in a wide range of areas, including diplomacy, economy and security,’ has declared Sanae Takaichi, Japanese Prime Minister. ‘‘We will then open a new chapter in the history of the Japanese-American alliance,’ she has added during a press conference after her impressive victory in the elections. Donald Trump has declared last week that Sanae Takaichi would attend the White House on March 19th. He has supported her during the election as ‘a strong, powerful and wise leader who truly loves her country.’
