The importance of strengthening the resilience to face life’s trials has the constituted the main message conveyed in the film ‘Dans le silence, tu parles’ (In Silence, You Speak), produced in the Democratic Republic of Congo, CPA has learned on Sunday from the lead actress of this short film. ‘This film invites the women who have lost their children and even those who have lost close relatives or other blessings such as a promotion, a car, a marriage (…), to strengthen their resilience and adaptability in order to face life’s challenges,’ has declared Deborah Pezit. According to her explanations, this short film shows a woman in distress, whose voice echoes fades into the silence of eternity. « (…) It is an exploration of the mourning of a woman who has experienced an involuntary abortion. She focuses on this moment of mourning, which she goes through alone with God. It is a silence filled with questions that she addresses to her Lord, without ever receiving a direct answer, » she has explained. Deborah Pezit has also indicated that this 25-minute film is scheduled for a preview screening on July 25th, 2025 in a theatre room in Kinshasa.
