According to the source, the agreement has been officially initialled in Johannesburg on Wednesday, in the presence of CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe, and AGL Chairman, Mr Philippe Labonne, adding that it follows a first successful collaboration during the CAN 2023, in Ivory Coast, during which, AGL has reaffirmed its central role as the official logistics partner of CAF, committing itself again alongside the governing body of African football for the next two Moroccan editions. Reason why, has indicated the website, the CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe has welcomed this reengagement: « CAF is delighted to renew its partnership with AGL, with whom we have collaborated successfully during the CAN 2023 in Ivory Coast. Philippe Labonne, president of Africa Global Logistics, has declared that he is honoured to extend this collaboration with CAF, with whose he shares the same vision of unity and excellence for Africa, recalling his group’s ambition to support the successful organisation of major competitions such as the African Cup of Nations and the Women’s African Cup of Nations, while contributing to making African football a sustainable lever for economic and social development.
