The Minister in charge of Transport took this resolution Thursday, during a working session with the delegation of this structure, which came to seek its support in this matter, indicates a document from this ministry received Friday at the CPA.
According to the source, this equipment is granted to the DRC to serve as communication and coordination between the centers of aeronautical interest of Bangui (RCA) and Gbadolite (DRC) .The latter have been blocked at the port of Matadi since December 20. 2020 due to the fact that the Airways Authority (RVA), user of these materials, has taken no steps to clear them and transport them to the province of Nord-Ubangi for the aviation safety of the sub-region.
Faced with this difficulty, the ASECNA delegation composed of 7 people lifted the option of using the diplomatic channel to plead with the Minister of Transport means of communication and opening up to settle the situation.
It should be noted that the ASCENA delegation was led to the Minister by Joachim Tchissambou M’boundou, representative of this structure in Congo Brazzaville, of the Deputy Director General of the National Civil Aviation Agency of Congo Brazzaville.
Mr. Joachim said he was satisfied with the promptness with which the Minister of Transport reacted to this subject which discredited the Democratic Republic of the Congo, specifying that Chérubin Okende Senga had taken all the necessary measures for the resolution of the problem. He promised to discuss it with his colleague from Finance, with a view to obtaining a removal for customs clearance and the delivery of these materials to Gbadolite.
The diligence shown by Chérubin Okende, underlines the source, is part of the air safety of the air sky which is one of the challenges that the government of the DRC has set itself, indicates the source.
As a reminder, ASECNA is an international public establishment governed by the Dakar Convention revised in 2010, with legal personality and enjoying financial autonomy.
