Handball-Africa: JSK loses by forfeit to Wydad Smara for non-payment of fees

Kinshasa, May 10th, 2023 (CPA) – The HC Jeunesse sportive de Kinshasa (JSK) of the city of Kinshasa, in Democratic Republic of Congo, has lost by forfeit the match against Wydad Smara of Morocco, in the opening match of the 39th edition of the African Championship of Men’s Cup Winning Clubs of the specialty.

The team left Kinshasa last Saturday, May 6 with a reduced number of eight (9) players instead of eighteen (18) selected to face this continental competition.

As a reminder, JSK of the DRC is lodged in group A with Zamalek (Egypt), Wydad Smara (Morocco), FANZ (Cameroon) and Red Star (Ivory Coast). ACP/
