The rural Congolese woman has a great capacity to transform his products

Kinshasa, August 7th, 2021 (CPA).- The rural Congolese woman has taken a big step forward in the transformation and conservation of her agricultural products thanks to the trainings learned by various partners for the development of the DRC, said Friday Ms. Sophie Lusadi , president of the NGO « BOSOLO », based in the municipality of Selembao, during a meeting organized for rural women in this municipality. For Ms. Lusadi, the rural woman in rural areas considered as the nurturer of the populations, must feel capable of transforming unsold agricultural products by giving them added value so that they are edible later. Referring to the daily problems experienced by this category of women, she noted the difficulties of accessing arable land, the lack of adequate tools and deplorable working conditions. The president of the NGO « BOSOLO » also asked the government and the national community to honor the work of these valiant women farmers by providing them with the necessary means to improve their production.
