Kinshasa, September 14th, 2021 (CPA).- The Prime Minister, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, received on Monday at the Prime Minister’s office, a delegation of the African Union headed by Lamine Baali, representative of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (Western Sahara) to the African Union and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
For Lamine Baali, his delegation came to express its satisfaction and thanks to Prime Minister Sama Lukonde for the warm welcome he received from his arrival until the end of the said program.
“It’s a constructive program with positive results. We were able to see the victims on the site. We had the opportunity to meet the children of Goma. And also, we informed the Prime Minister that the visit of this delegation of the African Union falls within a purely humanitarian framework and especially within a framework of solidarity and support for the government and the Congolese people after the eruption of the volcano of Nyiragongo. We are satisfied with our visit”, said Lamine Baali.
This delegation, it is reported, which has just carried out a humanitarian and solidarity mission in Goma to provide the support of the African Union to the government and the Congolese people after the eruption of Nyiragongo volcano, was accompanied by the head of government by Deputy Foreign Minister Samy Adubango Awotho.
