CAF authorizes the Martyrs stadium to host ladies’ matches and interclub

Kinshasa, September 24th, 2021 (CPA) – The African Football Confederation (CAF), has authorized the Martyrs of Pentecost stadium, which is undergoing full rehabilitation, to house the ladies’ matches as well as the matches of the interclub competitions, we learned, on Thursday, to the communication direction of this sports body. Already, on Saturday September 25th, the Leopards ladies under 20, will receive their counterparts from Cameroon in this great temple of Congolese football, on behalf of the first leg of the second round of the qualifiers of the World Cup of the specialty, scheduled for 2022, in Costa Rica. The Cameroon team delegation was expected on Thursday evening in the Congolese capital. The match commissioner, the Congolese Élise Delly Mankhou Née Ekotto, had arrived earlier this afternoon in Kinshasa. Gabonese referees Angele Valerie Omanda, Chellyna Maroundou Floria, and Pression Praxede Nho Dong as well as Burkinabe Jacqueline Nikiema will set foot on Congolese soil the same Saturday at 12:05 am. As for the coach Andy-Magloire M’futila and his foals, they have been interned since Wednesday evening at Kampo Hotel, in the municipality of Barumbu and trained on Thursday, September 23rd at 4:00 p.m., at the William Booth field in the municipality of Barumbu.
