Kinshasa, September 7th, 2021 (CPA).– The Minister in charge of Transport, Ways of Communication and Opening up, Chérubin Okende Senga, flew on Sunday to Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) for discussions relating to the partnership in the aeronautical field, with the airline « Ethiopian Airlines Group », learned on Monday CPA, airport source.
No details were obtained on the nature of these discussions, but this mission is part of the process for the acquisition of new aircraft, for the benefit of the national airline Congo Airways, estimated an expert.
Four years ago, Congo Airways acquired two Q400 aircraft from Ethiopian Airlines and benefited from support from technicians from this Ethiopian aviation company, one of the largest in Africa, this expert recalled.
