Lubumbashi, september 8th, 2021 (CPA) – The Minister in charge of Higher and University Education (ESU), Muhindo Nzangi, arrived on Wednesday in Lubumbashi, capital of Haut-Katanga province, as part of the Estates General of its sector, in this city.
He was greeted at Loano international airport by a delegation of executives from his ministry led by the rector of the University of Lubumbashi (UNILU), Gilbert Kishiba Fitula.
The minister told reporters shortly after his arrival that he was happy to attend this meeting, which DRC has not organized for 25 years.
Start of the preliminary work of the Estates General
The preliminary work of the Estates General of ESU began on Wednesday in Muteta room of the Faculty of Human Medicine at UNILU.
These are looking at the harmonization of committees, programs and subjects to be debated, before the actual work, the organizers learned from CPA.
The Estates General of ESU aim to propose appropriate solutions to the problems of the higher education sector and universities of the DRC, with the aim of redefining and innovating the educational system of this high level of education, it informs. ACP / JFM
