The Minister in charge of EPST welcomes the support of teachers during 2020-2021 year

Kinshasa, september 8th, 2021 (CPA) – The Minister in charge of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST), Prof Tony Mwaba welcomed, on Wednesday, the support of teachers as well as that of technical and financial partners throughout 2020-2021 year which ends on a satisfactory note.

Tony Mwaba, who also praised the government’s efforts for the culmination of the school year, said on the occasion of the end of it, at the Technical Commercial Institute of Ngaliema and at Notre Dame high school of Tobongisa providence, in Kinshasa, while recognizing nevertheless that this year has not been easy.

The Minister in charge of EPST also reassured teachers of his determination to find solutions to the various challenges plaguing EPST sector for 2021-2022 school year construction of new schools, equipping teachers with teaching materials and improving their socio-professional conditions.

The Minister claims to have obtained from the Government of the Republic, the payment of the bush premium by next October.
