Free education: An endowment from the Presidency of the Republic to CPA for the publication of the results of EXETAT

Kinshasa, September 14th, 2021 (CPA).- The President of the Republic, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo authorized the opening of a line of credit in favor of the Congolese Press Agency (ACP) in order to allow it to publish for free the results of the State examination on its website and to print as well as to make the list of results available to all provinces of the country.

Having learned of the existence of this endowment, the Minister in charge of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST), Tony Mwaba Kaza has just instructed in writing the competent service of his ministry to give urgent and favorable action to the request for CPA, public media, to access the results of the State examination, 2020-2021 edition as soon as they are available.

As a reminder, telecommunications companies are forcing parents and finalist students to spend a lot of money before accessing the results of the State examination, in particular because of the over-saturation of the networks at the time of publication. Applicants are then forced to consume a lot of units and therefore spend a lot of money unnecessarily before accessing the results.

Paying large sums of money to parents and finalists to access the results of the State Examination is contrary to the decision of the Head of State Félix Tshisekedi to ensure free education already in effect in DRC.

Through CPA, the Congolese state’s written press body, the government has its own and powerful dissemination tool allowing it to immediately post, through its website, the results of the State examination available to all parents and to all those who need it wherever they are in the world, it is noted.

In addition, with proven expertise in the field, many observers underline, CPA now has, thanks to the endowment authorized by the President of the Republic, the means to print and put up free of charge the results lists of the State examination as soon as possible, available to all provinces and universities, in particular to facilitate the enrollment of new students while waiting for the diplomas to be issued to the laureates.
