Kamoa Copper seeks support from Minister in charge of State, Adele Kayinda

Kinshasa, May 20th, 2021 (CPA).– The delegation of Kamoa Copper SA, led by its Chairman of the board of directors, Ben Munanga, requested, on Wednesday, the Minister of State, Minister in charge of Portfolio, Adele Kayinda Mahina, the support of his ministry for the execution and realization of Kamoa Copper project, a company operating in mining in Lualaba province.

During an audience that Minister of State Adele Kayinda granted to this delegation in her office in Gombe municipality, it took the opportunity to congratulate the Minister of State on her appointment to the within Sama Lukonde government.

“We requested this interview with the Minister of State first to congratulate her on her appointment as Minister of State, Ministry in charge of Portfolio. The Ministry in charge of Portfolio is very important insofar as it represents the shareholder of the Congolese State in Kamoa Copper”, indicated Mr. Munanga.

He also said that today’s meeting was also intended to bridge the gap between the ministry and my company, Kamoa Copper.

« Our second objective in addition to congratulating the Minister, was to establish a bridge, given the important support that Kamoa Copper will need in terms of accompaniment in the execution of the project », underlined PCA, Ben Munanga.

He said that the Minister of State did them the honor of listening to them attentively and, she is committed to supporting this project. But, she expects Kamoa Copper project to work on goals that she herself would like to see, but not just any goals, the best possible goals. ACP /
