National Assembly: Support of religious denominations for the institutions of the Republic

Kinshasa, July 11th, 2021 (CPA).- Religious denominations affirm their support for the institutions of the Republic, declared on Saturday Iman Musa Kalema, at the end of the audience granted to the leaders of religious denominations by the president of the lower house of Parliament, Christophe Mboso, in his study at the People’s Palace.

Iman Musa, who was received with the heads of the Salvation Army and the Union of Independent Churches, affirmed that the exchanges with the speaker of the National Assembly revolved around the state of siege, the peace and development issues in DRC.

« We also talked about the electoral law and the problems of functioning of the country in general », said Iman Musa, before stressing the willingness of the heads of religious denominations to pray for the country and for unity and cohesion of its population.

Referring to the situation that prevails within the Islamic Community in Congo, Iman Musa invited his Muslim colleagues who have strayed from the right path of his community, to come to their senses and return to Comico. ACP/
