According to corroborating sources, the attackers invaded the village of Mbingi-Mabau very early in the morning, where they killed at least (7) civilians and four (4) others wounded.
This information was also confirmed by the president of the civil society of the village Mamove, KinosKatuo, specifying that several other civilians were kidnapped by these attackers during this incursion.
“For the moment, we have a toll of 7 civilians killed and 4 wounded. These people are victims of the barbarity of the ADF rebels, who attacked this locality at 6 am. They have also taken several of our populations hostage, ”he said.
Following this situation and the alerts on the presence of the ADF in certain localities of the territory of Beni, civil society calls on the FARDC to redouble strategies to definitively track down these rebels who sow terror and desolation among the population, such as desired by the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo by decreeing the state of siege, in order to restore peace in this part of the country.
