Kinshasa, August 7th, 2021 (CPA). – Several primary school finalists did not pass the tests of the National Primary School Leaving Test (TENAFEP) due to the insecurity that prevails in this part of the national territory, indicated Thursday to the press, a representative of civil society from the city of Beni, Jonas Zawadi, based in the Banande Kainama group in Beni territory, in the province of North Kivu,
According to Jonas Zawadi, most of the students are on the move: some in the neighboring province of Ituri and others in the town of Beni, following the activism of the suspected rebels of the Democratic and Allied Forces (ADF), who cause terror and desolation among the population.
While expressing his concerns about the risk of disruption of the 2020-2021 school calendar in this territory, he called on the country’s authorities to further strengthen security in the territory of Beni as desired by the President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo who established a state of siege in the provinces of Ituri and North Kivu.
