Lubumbashi, April 12th, 2021 (CPA).- Two agents of the real estate cadastre service named Vincent Kalombo wa Kasongo and Alain Mulomba Songolola, arrested by the intelligence service of the province of Haut-Katanga for illegally carrying a weapon, have was presented last Saturday to Governor Jacques Kyabula Katwe, in the governorate in Lubumbashi.
These cadres, who pretended to be elements of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, failed to explain to the provincial authority the circumstances in which they obtained this weapon.
Governor Jacques Kyabula condemned this behavior which does not favor and sabotages the efforts of the police and the army in the fight against insecurity. He has promised to get involved in this case so that these two agents are held accountable for their actions in court.
