Goma, July 3rd, 2021 (CPA).– The remains of the provincial president of the ECC / North Kivu, Bishop Levis Milegha Mbala, who died last Monday in a medical facility in Goma following a short illness, was taken to his last home on Tuesday in the presence of many personalities political, civil, religious and military as well as the provincial presidents of Great Kivu.
The vice-governor, representing the military governor, ecclesiastical authorities, delegations from Kinshasa, Butembo, and a crowd of Protestant faithful paid their last homage to the illustrious disappeared during the religious worship organized in the morning, in heaven open, in the enclosure of the church of the 3rd CBCA, (Baptist community in the center of Africa), parish of Virunga.
Pastor Levis Milegha Mbala was born on June 26, 1948 in Bukavu in South Kivu and studied at the Free University of the Great Lakes Countries (ULPGL) in Goma, from where he graduated in theology.Many of the achievements of the ECC in North Kivu are to his credit, and he is the author of a dozen books.
God gave and God took back
Enhancing this ceremony with his presence, the vice-governor said, “God gave and God took back,” “this is the inescapable law of God who alone knows what he is capable of. We have all come to pay respectful homage to him, may he rest in peace. «
