Lodja, July 24th, 2021 (CPA).- Forty-nine residential houses including one from the Kimbanguist Church in Dikonda village in the Kondo Tshumbe sector located at a distance of 60km from downtown Lodja were set on fire by bush fire from the rice fields.
This news was communicated to the press recently by Pastor Kimbanguiste Émile Nsombo who reported that rice farmers chose to burn their fields when the wind was blowing strongly in this customary entity.
The results of this incident reported the loss of goats, pigs, sheep and others locked in houses found well charred in the passage of this bush fire, it is said. ACP/Fng/nig
