Kikwit, July 24th, 2021 (CPA) .- The non-profit organization Solidarity of the natives and friends of Bulungu (SONABU) in Kwilu, is organizing a campaign to collect funds and goods in favor of the victims of the village Mbanza Kipwala, Luniungu sector, Bulungu territory in Kwilu.
According to Gédéon Muwawa, president of this structure, who delivered this information to the CPA on Friday, this campaign comes a few months after the disturbance between the inhabitants of this village and those of Makoso in the same sector, following the death of ‘a man from Mokoso dating a woman in Mbanza Kipwala at a distance of 15 km.
Residents of Mokoso village came down in retaliation and set fire to many houses in Mbanza Kipwala.
The funds and goods collected are to be deposited at the headquarters of this structure in the capital of Bulungu territory. ACP/Fng/nig
