Lubumbashi, November 1st, 2021 (CPA).- The Higher Institute of Commerce (ISC) Lubumbashi dumped on the job market 1221 graduate and fired finalists, during the double ceremony of graduation and closing of the academic year 2020-2021 at ISC Lubumbashi. The Director General, Prof Armand Kabange Kitenge in his closing speech for the academic year underlined that the latter must be able to demonstrate their capacity and participate in the economic growth of the country, before specifying that the ISC has for mission research, education and service to society. He also congratulated the winners for the sacrifices made throughout the academic year and thanked the parents for their contributions and contribution during this year which was not easy given the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic.
84% success in first session
The higher institute of commerce Lubumbashi recorded, in all the courses registered in the program for this academic year, a success of 84% for the day and the evening with regard to the license and graduat, while 45% were postponed. in license and 71% in graduate. These statistics were provided by the academic secretary general, prof Pascal Sembimbi. He praised the quality of the teaching and the determination of the faculty who gave themselves body and soul to make the class hours. In addition, ISC Lubumbashi has 279 agents: full-time and part-time, i.e. 14 professors, 2 associate professors, 49 heads of work and course loaders, 123 assistants, 3 professional practice managers and 1 librarian.
For the 2020-2021 school year, the ISC taught 396 courses, i.e. 3,465 hours and has 6 options, namely technical sciences of executive secretary, banking and insurance, human resources management, commercial and financial sciences which has 2 accounting option. and marketing, management information technology with the option of design and networks and customs and seating.
