Goma, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- The coordinator of the Association of Lawyers for the Defense of the Media (ASADEM Asbl), Me Constantin Mugisha Bakunzl, explained the objectives of his structure during a meeting with the media officials, Thursday in Goma.
Mugisha Bakunzl, indicated that this association promotes and defends human rights in general in particular those of journalists, given the importance of their noble work.
He said that this association informs journalists about certain procedures applicable before judicial and administrative bodies and initiates media operators to strict compliance with the legal instruments of their profession but also assists and / or represents, if necessary, journalists. in the defense of their rights in court.
To a question, he established the clear difference in its structure with those which also defend the rights of journalists, specifying that his asbl is made up only of lawyers.
