Uvira, June 25th, 2021 (CPA) The Nyamianda, Kiamanga, Kilibula, Kalundu and Songo districts in the city of Uvira, an entity in the province of South Kivu have been deprived of drinking water for more than a month, a we learned on Friday from a source close to civil society.
The residents of these neighborhoods resort to the rivers in their area with the risk of being attacked by animals such as hippos and also of contracting water-borne diseases.
Contact on this matter, the head of the REGIDESO water distribution center in the city of Uvira reserved any comment. ACP/
