Kisangani, May 29th, 2021 (CPA).- The provincial minister of the environment, Jean Norbert Loluka Lolisambo, chaired a meeting last Wednesday bringing together the provincial ministers of planning and gender as well as the provincial steering committee of the agricultural sector, to examine the PRODAT activity report for agricultural revival launched in December 2020, to end in April 2021.
For the provincial minister of the environment, this report is the result of a good partnership between ENABEL and the provincial government insofar as the income from farming operations by families in the targeted forest areas in the province of the Tshopo has increased thanks to the program for the sustainable revival of agricultural production which contributes to poverty reduction. For his part, Tingo, coordinator of the agricultural development program in Tshopo, indicated that the objective of this meeting is to develop the model of sustainable agriculture from an economic point of view, by strengthening public actors and users of PAIDECO infrastructure and equipment.
