Tshopo: closing in Kisangani of a workshop on female leadership.

Kisangani, May 29th, 2021 (CPA).- Father Victor Mbatu, Director of the pastoral center, on behalf of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Kisangani, closed last Tuesday a two-day workshop on female leadership, in the room of meetings of the procurements of missions. On this occasion, Cosmos Kono, coordinator of the diocesan justice and peace commission, argued that the strengthening of female leadership should be required, to ensure their inclusion in the electoral process to come.

According to him, Congolese society is too masculinized, ‘’ the fundamental question is to reverse the trend as leadership should not be limited to the aspect of social life, « added the coordinator of the Justice and Peace Commission. This workshop was led by Ms Claudine Bela, provincial coordinator of the CNDH and Marguerite Libebele, President of the National Union of Women in the Media (UCOFEM). ACP/Fng/nig
