The 4th edition of the « Escale Bantoo » Festival postponed to October following COVID-19

Kinshasa, July 24th, 2021 (CPA).- The cultural association “Scène d’ébène” has postponed from October 6 to 9 in Kinshasa, the 4th edition of the Festival called “Escale Bantoo”, following the third wave of the pandemic of COVID19, indicates this non-profit organization in a press release sent to the CPA on Friday.

Initially scheduled for July, notes the source, this postponement is due to the prohibition measures and meetings of more than 20 people, taken by the country’s authorities following the health crisis relating to the third wave of the pandemic of COVID19.

Thus, the steering committee of this cultural event reassures the participants that the programming of the event will not undergo any major change, except for a few innovations and slight rearrangements brought on one side on the digital level.

The program of this 4th edition of the four days provides for exchanges of ideas between young artists, managers, cultural operators and other musical professionals around show cases, conferences, workshops as well as reflections on the promotion of music feminine.

Open to all styles of music (Rumba, Salsa, Rap and others), Escale Bantoo is a cultural event that highlights the female talents of Central Africa in particular. ACP/Fng/nig
