EUFKIN-Malebo: the 2021-2022 championship starts on September 22

Kinshasa, September 1st, 2021 (CPA).- The 2021-2022 championship of the Kinshasa Urban Football Agreement (EUFKIN) -Malebo will start on Saturday, September 22, announced Tuesday to the ACP the deputy executive secretary of this entity sportswoman, Salomon Kembi.

He said that the start concerns Division I, that of the championships of divisions II, III and IV will take place respectively on September 29th, October 2nd and 10th, while promising improvements during this 2021-2022 championship.

Salomon Kembi insisted that these starting dates for the championship of different divisions remain unchanged, urging the clubs involved to prepare well to comply with these dates.

Division I will play without the relegated clubs of EPFKIN

The 2021-2022 EUFKIN-Malebo Division I championship will take place without the relegated clubs of the Kinshasa Provincial Football Agreement (EPFKIN). The absence of these relegated teams from EPFKIN is justified by the new formula for the championship of this sports entity, which has increased the number of clubs from 20 to 32.

Three EUFKIN-Malebo division I clubs will play in the EPFKIN championship next season, given their performances in the last championship: AC Léga, 2020-2021 champion, RC Bumbu, second, and IC Kalamu, third in the final classification of the 2020-2021 championship.
