The tributes of the Sports Journalists Network to all the sportsmen of the country who have died

Kinshasa, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- The Network of Sports Journalists of Congo (RJSC) paid tribute to all the deceased Congolese sportsmen, Thursday through the suffrage mass at the Catholic parish of Saint Joseph de Matonge, in the town of Kalamu, in Kinshasa.

The worship, an initiative of the president of this structure, Roger Buloba, was celebrated by the Vicar Father of the parish, Joseph Mola. On this occasion, the officiant of the day focused his homily on the love of God in the sense that the creator of the universe is and always remains an example of this love towards human beings who are his creatures. This, inasmuch as God loved man before he was even born.

In his message from Romans 8: 38-40 and the gospel of Luke 12: 34-38, the speaker asserted that death is a way to come to the creator of all things.

Roger Buloba returned, in his word for the occasion, on the exploits of these many deceased athletes, all sporting disciplines combined, who rest for eternity and to whom this Mass has been dedicated: “Our wish is that this date of the 10th June is perpetuated and remains forever the one dedicated to all dead sportsmen and so be it from year to year as far as possible”.

Sports journalists, sports leaders and many family members of the deceased as well as friends and acquaintances attended the suffrage mass. ACP/
