A strategic partnership in technological cooperation envisaged between Greek and Congolese hospitals

Kinshasa, February 22^nd, 2025 (CPA).- A visit aimed at laying the groundwork for a strategic partnership in the technological field between Greek and Congolese hospitals was carried out on Saturday at the University Hospital Center of the Cinquantenaire (CHU-50) in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, by a delegation from the non-profit organization and “Medic Assist Greece.” “The Santequiz non-profit organization and Medic Assist Greece are visiting CHU-50 to lay the foundations for a strategic partnership between Greek and Congolese hospitals. The DRC is gaining momentum, and so is its healthcare system,” said Dr. Bienvenu Ileka, coordinator of the “Santequiz” non-profit organization. According to him, the objective is to exchange knowledge, share scientific expertise, promote technological cooperation and mutually strengthen capacities. This dynamic is driven by concrete actions and structuring projects, notably the modernization and revitalization of CHU-50. He indicated that the delegation was led by Dr. Jean-Michel Kayumba, Head of the Emergency Department, for an in-depth tour of the facilities. “We then held a high-level technical session with the Medical Director, Dr. Willy Kabongo, on concrete prospects for collaboration. Major achievements are emerging between CHU-50, Santequiz and Medic Assist Greece (an innovative medical company based in Athens, Greece).
