DRC-Linafoot: Motema Pembe to host Dauphin Noir on Wednesday in Group B

Kinshasa, March 17th, 2026 (CPA). – Motema Pembe of Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and Dauphin Noir of Goma, in Nord-Kivu in the east of the country, are set to face off on Wednesday at the Tata Raphael Stadium in Kinshasa, on the 30th,matchday of Group B of the National Football League (Linafoot) championship, according to the league’s fixture list, consulted on Tuesday by CPA. This match will be the second for the Kinshasa-based club, following their victory over AC Rangers (3-1), at the end of their suspension, which followed the deduction of 24 penalty points by FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee. This simply means that the green-and-white club from Kinshasa will have to work twice as hard to regain, if possible, some new momentum through victories, in the hope of reviving their fortunes and securing their place in the league.  But standing in their way will be AS Dauphin Noir of Goma (34 points, 21 matches), in top form and currently fourth in Group B, with the ambition of remaining among the four Group B clubs eligible for the play-offs.

Bukavu Dawa set to face MK on Wednesday in Kinshasa

Shortly before this clash between DCMP and Dauphin Noir, there will be another match between OC Bukavu Dawa of Sud-Kivu, in the east of DRC, and MK of Kinshasa, the country’s capital, as part of the 25th, matchday of Group B  of the National Football League (Linafoot) championship, according to the same schedule. As for Bukavu Dawa, in dire straits and firmly rooted in the relegation zone, they are ranked 13th, and second-bottom in the table with 10 points from 21 matches, just on the brink of relegation. In contrast, MK (23 points, 20 matches), sitting in 10th place, should avoid the struggles that could drag them down. Hence, they must secure three more points to gain some much-needed breathing space and move away from the bottom of the table. ACP/
